Freelance Computer lead

View some of my work visit - THE LEARNING ZONE

My name is John Goodier and I am a freelance computer lead working in primary school education.  Over the last few years computing in primary schools has gone through some major changes and many schools have risen to the challenged

However, there are still some challenges to be overcome. One challenge is that many primary school teachers, even in 2023, lack the confidence and skills to teach computing effectively. Another challenge is that there is a shortage of high-quality computing resources available to primary schools. This is partly due to the fact that computing is a relatively expensive subject to teach, and partly due to the fact that there is a limited range of FREE high-quality computing resources available on the market.

Pupils are also learning about a wider range of computing concepts, such as programming, data analysis, networks and cybersecurity and teaching a rich computing curriculum can become a bit of a nightmare
